Description

• Vintage Harvest Mushroom Wood, also known as Reclaimed Hemlock Wood was used to line mushroom beds for many years and has a wonderful story of history and sustainabilty, with a unique caramel like patina.
• During the Mushroom growth cycle, this wood is exposed to years of sustainable acid-laden compost, moisture and abrasion and has been used for this process dating back from 1896 unil today.
• We carefully remove the boards from the growing beds, power wash each board, Kiln dry the wood and then begin milling the planks to 1/2 inch thick with lengths up to 48 inches.
