The tamper-resistant outlet design features internal shutters that keep out unwanted objects to ensure your children??s safety. Each of the USB ports is equipped with IntelliChip technology, which recognizes the power needs of your devices to prevent overcharging, protect against overheating, and maximize charging efficiency. Note that the USB ports are not rated to charge laptops and similar devices. Power for such devices can be drawn from the standard outlets, though certain bulky adapters may block access to the USB ports.
