The StudSensor HD70 locates the center, edges and direction of wood and metal studs. StudScan locates studs up to 3/4 in. D while, DeepScan scans for studs up to 1-1/2 in. D. A bright LCD screen and Target Spotlight illuminate when the stud center is found. The MetalliScanner m40 differentiates wood from metal studs, detects studs in lath and plaster walls without metal mesh and helps navigate the vertical freeway of metal plumbing, ductwork and rebar. The m40 quickly detects metal in wood, drywall, paneling, tile, plaster, concrete and other non-metallic surfaces. Ideal for scanning reclaimed lumbar for hidden metal.
